Principal's Letter Faith Reflection

Therefore, our God, we give you thanks and we praise the majesty of your name./Por eso, Dios nuestro, te damos gracias y alabamos tu Nombre glorioso.—1 Chronicles/1 Las Cronicas

For the SLE activity earlier this month each 8th grader leader wrote the opening prayer for their family. I was able to find two 8th graders who still had their prayer. Though the prayers were written with our Veterans in mind they still fit for our upcoming Thanksgiving holiday - and thanking our Veterans again is a happy bonus:

Lord, we thank you for this beautiful day. And we thank you for allowing us to be walking on this beautiful earth that you have created. We pray for all the Veterans, and those in the military that are fighting for our country and our lives. Rihana, 8th

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for all of our military veterans living and deceased. Men and women who have served our country and risked their lives to keep us safe. This Veterans Day, please keep current members of the military safe and protect all veterans. Thank you also for all of our abundant blessings. May we feel grateful and thankful for everything that you have blessed our lives with. This Thanksgiving, and this holiday season, keep all of our families safe; I pray we have a great holiday season. In your name we pray. Amen. Emily, 8th

Showcasing SHA talent: May your Thanksgiving table look as nice these bouquets that Braden and a classmate in 7th made.

God bless,
