To put it plainly: the Holy Spirit gives us discomfort. Because it moves us, makes us walk, impels the Church to move forward. And we are like Peter at the Transfiguration: 'Ah, how nice to be so, all together!' ... But that does not bother us. We want to tame the Holy Spirit. And that's wrong. Because He is God and He is the wind that comes and goes and you do not know from where. And the power of God, is what gives us the consolation and strength to move forward. - Pope Francis, 2013
This school year began with gratitude as we joined with the parish in looking at all that we were thankful for. So it is fitting that we end the year with gratitude—even our yearbook reflects this.
To show our gratitude I will use the thank you prayer Mia, in 7th grade, wrote earlier this year to the Holy Spirit:
Thank you
I dwell upon the goodness in my life. Thank you.
I cherish in my heart your gift to me. Thank you.
I notice the blessings of life, breath, loving, and sharing.
I am so grateful. Thank You!
Showcasing SHA talent: Hilario and Julian from 6th show how these characters from The Story of Wu Kong learned to be grateful for what they had.
